The Donald Trump administration is expected to announce the closing of the Palestine Liberation Organization’s Washington office today, the Wall Street Journal reports. The move aims to pressure the Palestinian Authority to resume its participation in US-led peace talks with Israel that the Palestinians have boycotted since Trump’s decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital. National security adviser John Bolton is expected to officially make the announcement during a speech today at the conservative Federalist Society, his first since joining the Trump administration.
